Automobiles Volkswagen launches the all-new Touareg in India Sep 26, 2012 Volkswagen, Europe’s largest car maker today announced the launch of the all-new Touareg. The new generation Touareg will be available to customers in the diesel variant in automatic transmission, at Rs. 58.5 lakh ex showroom Delhi. Sales of the all-new Touareg will start from end of September. The Touareg will be available as an FBU equipped with a 3 litre V6 TDI engine – the most powerful & efficient engine in its class – that delivers a maximum power of 245PS@3800-4400rpm and an impressive torque of 550NM@1750-2250rpm. The engine of the Touareg integrates a host of technologies aimed at delivering an optimal balance of performance, exceptional drivability on all terrains and a fuel mileage of 12.08 kmpl (ARAI certified).
