BANKING Mrs. V. R. Iyer takes charge as CMD of Bank of India Nov 6, 2012 by Prashant Kapadia Mrs.V. R. Iyer took charge as the Chairperson and Managing Director of Bank of India on 5th November, 2012. She began her career with Union Bank of India in December 1975. She was elevated to the post of Executive Director, Central Bank of India in September, 2010. During her long and illustrious career spanning more than three and a half decades, she has handled a wide variety of portfolios ranging from Risk Management to Information Technology. CMD in her maiden address to the staff members clearly delineated her agenda for taking the Bank forward.
