Mumbai FC hold clear edge against Sporting Clube de Goa

The match will kick-off at 7.00 pm. The Mumbai outfit produced some outstanding performances in the last two I-League outings, defeating Shillong Lajong 2-1 and recording a convincing 4-0 win against DSK Shivajians in the concluding league match to clinch the fifth position. Mumbai FC coach Khalid Jamil is confident that his players can reproduce the same kind of form and performance on Sunday. Sterling and Wilson,part of Shapoorji Pallonji Group acquires 51% stake in STC Group

by Shrutee K/DNS Sterling and Wilson, part of Shapoorji Pallonji Group and one of India’s leading Solar EPC with over 1,000 MW of solar projects on ground , has acquired 51% stake inSTC Group, an Italian gas based power generation business, to expand its gas based power plant portfolio in key markets. Presently S&W has a presence in the diesel and solar power sector and this acquisition will enable it to establish a strong foothold in the gas power plant segment globally where STC Power has domain knowledge and capability of executing gas based power generation projects including gas based combined cycle power generation projects upto 200 MW capacity.  Sterling and Wilson has bought 51% stake in STC Power and 55% stake in Co.Stell, two operating companies of STC Group. by Shrutee K/DNS Sales of digital cameras with heavy discounts have drastically dropped to mere 35% in the last one year whereas the demand of smart phones has increased by over 120%, reveals an ASSOCHAM recent paper.  Smartphone sales almost more than doubled from 44 million units in 2013 to 100 million units in 2016. The volume of smartphone sales is expected to touch 165 million units by 2017, reveals the ASSOCHAM latest study.  Affordable smartphones includes handsets in the price of Rs 4000-10,000. This segment accounts for 78 per cent of all smartphone sales equipped with almost similar features which one may get in these sub-Rs 10,000 cameras, and thus the craze of digital cameras have almost vanished, said Mr. D S Rawat, Secretary General ASSOCHAM releasing the paper.
