Nick Jr. presents the ‘Kid Town Fair’
 
To celebrate this Children’s Day, Nick Jr. has planned for activities to give kids a platform to play and explore all through November.
Starting with ‘Nick Jr. presents the Kid town Fair’, scheduled on November 9 and 10, 2013 10.30 am to 7.30 pm at the World Trade Centre, Cuffe Parade Nick Jr. promises to take the kids on a celebratory high.
The 2-day fair has over 70 stalls with loads of fun workshops and products ranging from home decor, bath collections, personal accessories and art & crafts kits. The kids will also get a chance to participate in games and spend time with their favourite toon ‘Dora - The Explorer’. And if that’s not all… kids can indulge in a lot of interesting activities right from indoor gardening, acting and modeling to even storytelling, all under one roof while their parents are away on a shopping spree. Kids also stand a chance to win exclusive Nickelodeon goodies too.

World’s 1st Tech-Enabled Courier Papers N Parcels Launched by 13-year-old Tilak Mehta

Bringing together the power of technology with the world’s most efficient network of Mumbai d abbawalas , it was launched after a successful beta testing phase.  Papers N Parcels, the app-based courier service, has tied up with the Mumbai Dabbawalas to leverage the award-winning network of over 5000 dabbawalas  for door-to-door delivery and pick-up of packages within Mumbai City limits. Every dabbawalla who doubles up as a courier boy, carries an Android phone loaded with the Papers N Parcels app to take orders for pick-up or delivery. Mayor praises the footballing talent of Mumbai as he announces young stars will travel to London

The Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, announced the names of the successful youngsters on the first day of his trade mission to India. Sadiq was attending the ninth annual finals day of the Mumbai Soccer Challenge and watched a challenge match to win the inaugural Mayor of London Cup. He confirmed that, for the first time in the scheme’s nine-year history, two girls as well as two boys will be heading to London. The Mayor was joined at the finals day by Bollywood screen legend and the co-owner of Mumbai City football club, Ranbir Kapoor, as well as the Chairman of Queens Park Rangers, Tony Fernandes.
