Ambi  Pure to create special moments

Countless couples complain of losing the ‘spark’ in their relationship. Usually staleness tends to creep in with time causing many couples to drift apart. Recently AC Nielson in collaboration with Ambi Pur conducted an interesting survey in Delhi and Mumbai. The survey has an interesting revelation that staleness in a relationship is caused by a stale ambience at home. Most psychologists would agree that a pleasing smell is known to provide a conducive environment for being relaxed and unconstrained and a fresh ambiance acts as a catalyst for enhancing relationships.

P&G experts have bottled the fragrance of freshness with a range of Ambi Pur home and car fresheners. Ambi Pur has different variants of fresheners ranging from floral scents like Vanilla and Blooms to exotic scents like Hawaii and New Zealand Sping. Ambi Pur’s Refresh your Love campaign is an initiative to help couples refresh the stale ambience at home and rekindle the lost spark in their relationship.

During an event in Mumbai celebrity couple Riteish and
Genelia Deshmukh launched Ambi Pur’s - Refresh your Love campaign. Genelia Deshmukh was quoted saying, “This campaign of Ambi Pur helps bring out a key insight that a fresh ambience at home refreshes relationships. Riteish and I have been married for almost two years now and before that we dated for over nine years and like any other couple even we feel that relationships need to be constantly rejuvenated to keep the spark alive. We believe in making every moment special in our relationship by just living for the moment. Be it a dinner or a drive or just another night at home Ambi Pur always helps us to add that special ingredient of freshness which makes the moment more romantic and special.”

Commenting further Riteish says, “Neither of us our terribly romantic people but we do believe in special moments. Small things that have happened unknowingly have become romantic and has helped us to keep the freshness alive in our relationship. Like once on New Year’s night we just instantly decided to go to a coffee shop at 11.30pm and spend some time together and we both felt that was a special moment. We try to find happiness in small things.
Both of us feel that even the most romantic moment can be dampened by malodour. Imagine you’re at home and the setting is perfect but there is a foul smell. It will kill the romance. Hence small actions go a long way. Spraying Ambi Pur ensures you don’t miss out on those special moments.”
Dr Samir Rawat, Psychologist & Relationship Facilitator, was also present at the event. He along with Ritesh and Genelia conducted a ‘Freshometer Quiz*’ on consumers to check the freshness of their relationship. Dr. Rawat says, “It’s not surprising that the survey results reveal that 86% married couples agree that over the years the fragrance in the bedroom changes from flowers to baby powder and eventually to agarbatti or pain sprays**. With time monotony sets in and couples tend to ignore the need to enhance their relationship. A long lasting relationship is not a matter of luck, it is a matter of two individuals being realistic and making every effort to make the relationship work. This includes making use of all our senses, including the olfactory to create the right environment. Fragrances have an uncanny, mysterious power to alter moods, evoke distant memories, raise one’s spirits, and boost self-confidence. The reason why romance between couples increases in holiday destinations like Goa, Manali or Lonavala has a lot to do with the fresh environment these destinations provide. Ambi Pur gives couples a chance to bring the freshness of these destinations to their living room.”
