ANDHERI GETS A NEW SPORTS COMPLEX



A new classy club “Karamveer Sports Complex” is inaugurated by The Hon’ble Governor of Maharashtra State, Shri K Sankaranarayanan. This exclusive club is located in the heart of Andheri (W) and spreads over an area of 57000 sq. ft. Pravin Barwe, the owner and promoter of Karamveer Sports Complex said, “The club offers a vast range of sports, fitness, health and recreational facilities that cater to the needs of all age groups. From a half Olympic size swimming pool to a well-equipped gymnasium, from cricket practice pitches & nets to upcoming tennis court.”  

Abdul Shakoor said, “Staying fit and energetic is very important in everybody’s life and we believe that the club will help promote a healthy lifestyle among people living in and around Andheri (west).”

Other dignities who were present at the event Hon’ble Chief Information Commissioner of Maharashtra State, Shri Ratnakar Gaikwad (I.A.S.).

Mayor praises the footballing talent of Mumbai as he announces young stars will travel to London

The Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, announced the names of the successful youngsters on the first day of his trade mission to India. Sadiq was attending the ninth annual finals day of the Mumbai Soccer Challenge and watched a challenge match to win the inaugural Mayor of London Cup. He confirmed that, for the first time in the scheme’s nine-year history, two girls as well as two boys will be heading to London.
