Mumbai: Amity University Online today announced a
partnership with The Renewables Academy
(RENAC), based in Berlin (Germany), to launch its online German
Certification Program in Renewable Energy (Wind & Photovoltaic) in India. This 3
month online certification program will be rendered by RENAC for Indian
aspirants. The launch of this program aims at equipping students to understand
the different aspects of renewable energy, solar energy, photovoltaic (Solar
PV) systems, wind energy and much more.
Solar power in India is one of
the fastest growing industries. In January 2015, the Indian government
expanded its solar plans, targeting US $100 billion in investment and 100 GW of
solar capacity by 2022 & thus creating around 6.7 lakh jobs in India in
coming 10 years. In tandem with PM Narendra Modi’s vision of becoming a solar
power rich country, Amity University Online is offering this international online
program to Indian students to make them industry-ready & reap the benefits
