Hindi Sammelan at Rashtriya Chemicals and Fertilizers Limited, Mumbai

The Regional Hindi Sammelan, under the aegis of the Department of Official Language,Ministry of Home Affairs, New Delhi, will be organised by Regional Implementation Offices of Central and Western Region on 12th January 2018 at Government Offices, Banks, PSU and T O L I C s situated in Central and Western Region for their outstanding performance in the implementation of Hindi, the official language.
Honorable Governor of Maharashtra, Chennamaneni Vidyasagar Rao will be the Chief Guest at the Sammelan and will give away the Awards to the winners.Chief Secretary, Shri Sumit Mallik will be the Special Guest during the Sammelan. The Sammelan will be convened under the Chairmanship of Secretary, Department of the Official Language, Shri Prabhash Kumar Jha. Along with him the Joint Secretary, Department of Official Language, Dr Bipin Bihari, Mr. Rajneesh Kumar, Chairman, State Bank of India and other Officials of the Central Government / Banks / PSU’s will be present in the Sammelan.

Bringing together the power of technology with the world’s most efficient network of Mumbai d abbawalas , it was launched after a successful beta testing phase.  Papers N Parcels, the app-based courier service, has tied up with the Mumbai Dabbawalas to leverage the award-winning network of over 5000 dabbawalas  for door-to-door delivery and pick-up of packages within Mumbai City limits. Mayor praises the footballing talent of Mumbai as he announces young stars will travel to London

The Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, announced the names of the successful youngsters on the first day of his trade mission to India. Sadiq was attending the ninth annual finals day of the Mumbai Soccer Challenge and watched a challenge match to win the inaugural Mayor of London Cup. He confirmed that, for the first time in the scheme’s nine-year history, two girls as well as two boys will be heading to London.
