IMC Organises Awareness Program on Commodity Derivatives

IMC chamber of commerce and Industry, A SEBI accredited institution for commodity Derivatives, conducted a successful Awareness and Training Program on Monday August 12, 2019 at IMC premises. Over 40 participants representing traders, trade associations, finance professionals, investors and B school students participated. Mr G Chandrashekhar, Director IMC ERTF, Economic Advisor- IMC,    talked about India’s macro-economic indicators, importance of commodity markets, volatility in prices and management of commodity price risk through hedging. He also highlighted investor opportunity in commodity derivatives. Mr. Debojyoti Dey, AVP- Research, MCX made a presentation on the specific of Hedging, the role of commodity exchange and its functions, futures and options contract and so on.

World’s 1st Tech-Enabled Courier Papers N Parcels Launched by 13-year-old Tilak Mehta

Bringing together the power of technology with the world’s most efficient network of Mumbai d abbawalas , it was launched after a successful beta testing phase.  Papers N Parcels, the app-based courier service, has tied up with the Mumbai Dabbawalas to leverage the award-winning network of over 5000 dabbawalas  for door-to-door delivery and pick-up of packages within Mumbai City limits. Mayor praises the footballing talent of Mumbai as he announces young stars will travel to London

The Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, announced the names of the successful youngsters on the first day of his trade mission to India. Sadiq was attending the ninth annual finals day of the Mumbai Soccer Challenge and watched a challenge match to win the inaugural Mayor of London Cup. He confirmed that, for the first time in the scheme’s nine-year history, two girls as well as two boys will be heading to London. The Mayor was joined at the finals day by Bollywood screen legend and the co-owner of Mumbai City football club, Ranbir Kapoor, as well as the Chairman of Queens Park Rangers, Tony Fernandes.
