Mumbai: October, 2019 - Corvuss American Academy, a modern, state-of-the-art boarding school that aims to impart holistic world-class education for boys and girls from grades 6 to 12, is organising a cricket camp with the master of the pitch Mr. Lalchand Rajput. Mr Rajput, a former Indian cricketer is currently the head coach of the Zimbabwe National Cricket Team and is renowned for having led the Indian Cricket team to its first T20 world cup back in 2007.
The camp is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for boys and girls between the ages of 8-18 years who are passionate about cricket and wish to sharpen their skills and techniques under the guidance of Mr. Lalchand, who has mentored many cricket champions such as Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and Ishant Sharma.
The camp will provide a variety of relevant training modules that include personal assessment and reports of each participant, demonstrations, training on nets and matches as well as various technique and skill sets for batting, bowling, fielding and wicket keeping.

Mayor praises the footballing talent of Mumbai as he announces young stars will travel to London

The Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, announced the names of the successful youngsters on the first day of his trade mission to India. Sadiq was attending the ninth annual finals day of the Mumbai Soccer Challenge and watched a challenge match to win the inaugural Mayor of London Cup. He confirmed that, for the first time in the scheme’s nine-year history, two girls as well as two boys will be heading to London.
