Bank of Baroda opens new Office (EBSU) at Shabiya in Abu Dhabi


Bank of Baroda recently opened its new Electronic Banking Service Unit (EBSU) at Shabiya in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The Office was inaugurated by Shri S S Mundra, Chairman & Managing Director of the Bank during his recent visit to UAE.

On this occasion, Bank also inaugurated new premises for its Branch at Sharjah & Jebel Ali Free Zone EBSU, Dubai & also organized an Annual customer meet in Dubai.

Bank of Baroda is the only Indian Bank that has on-shore branch operations in the UAE. With the opening of Shabiya Office the Bank has Six on-shore Branches, Nine EBSUs & a DIFC off-shore branch in the UAE. Bank now has -102- overseas Branches / Offices across 24 Countries.

World’s 1st Tech-Enabled Courier Papers N Parcels Launched by 13-year-old Tilak Mehta

Bringing together the power of technology with the world’s most efficient network of Mumbai d abbawalas , it was launched after a successful beta testing phase.  Papers N Parcels, the app-based courier service, has tied up with the Mumbai Dabbawalas to leverage the award-winning network of over 5000 dabbawalas  for door-to-door delivery and pick-up of packages within Mumbai City limits. Every dabbawalla who doubles up as a courier boy, carries an Android phone loaded with the Papers N Parcels app to take orders for pick-up or delivery. Mayor praises the footballing talent of Mumbai as he announces young stars will travel to London

The Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, announced the names of the successful youngsters on the first day of his trade mission to India. Sadiq was attending the ninth annual finals day of the Mumbai Soccer Challenge and watched a challenge match to win the inaugural Mayor of London Cup. He confirmed that, for the first time in the scheme’s nine-year history, two girls as well as two boys will be heading to London.
