CORPORATE TiE Entreprenur Summit -   ‘Mahakumbh’  for Entrepreneurs Dec 24, 2012 The annual  flagship event of TiE (The Indus Entrepreneurs), called TiE Entrepreneur  Summit (TES) which was held in Bombay Exhibition Centre in Mumbai over 2 days this  week, saw more than 1500 participants, 65+ investors including venture   capitalists, private equity funds, angel investors, incubators, service  providers among others. BANKING/CSR Blood Donation Camp on the eve of 102 Foundation day of  Central Bank of India Dec 24, 2012 A Blood Donation Camp was organized under the joint effort of Central Bank of India and Tata Memorial Hospital on  the eve of 102nd Foundation day of Central Bank of India at Mumbai Main Office, Fort, Mumbai. Fruits were  distributed in the hospital. 100 persons donated blood.  The program was inaugurated by Field General Manager  Mr A K  Khadke.

TRAVEL/TOURISM Global Kokan Festival 2013 to be  held from January 4-7 in Mumbai The third edition of Global Kokan Festival, organised by Kokan Bhumi Pratishthan, will be held between January 4 and 7, 2013 at Bombay Exhibition Centre, Mumbai. The four-day extravaganza will witness 350 exhibitors, including infrastructure and investment firms, fisheries, agro-based and food processing, real estate, hotels and tour operators. As part of the Festival, Konkan Tourism will organise Beach Festival in May 2013 at Thane, Raigad, Ratnagiri and Sindhudurg to promote Beach and Coastal Tourism.
