Actor Aarti Chabria chosen to represent India @ Independence Day Celebrations in Long Island,New York

Having won millions of hearts recently on TV with her participation in popular dance reality show Jhalak Dikhla Ja, Actor Aarti Chabria is now on cloud 9 as she has been invited to for the Independence Day celebrations in New York, USA. 

Aarti has been invited as the "Grand Marshall" for the event and feels this is a huge honor as she is a true patriot and it gives her immense pleasure and honor to be chosen to be the Grand Marshall for August 11th and hoist the Indian tricolour on August 15th, 2013. USA has a huge Indian population and having been a winner for an earlier reality show and now on Jhalak, Aarti has a huge fan following there as well. Says a delighted Aarti, “As actors we do a lot of events be it endorsements, fashion shows, photoshoots etc but some are done for professional reasons and some are to tap PR opportunities. But this one’s straight from the heart and it’s rare you get a chance like this. The best part is it’s my dad’s birthday on August 15th and my entire family will be with me in US to experience this proud moment.” “I will take this opportunity to represent the cause and turmoil of those thousands of people in Uttarakhand and will create awareness for the same.”

 

Aarti is multi talented personality and apart from acting, has recently completed a course in direction from New York, USA recently and this event will hence be full of nostalgia for the actor. Aarti will also be meeting some filmmakers in New York who are planning to cast her. The actor has done movies in several Indian languages and has recently wrapped up shoot for her first Punjabi Film “Viyah 70 km”. 

Aarti Chabria is an Indian actress and a former model, who appears in Hindi, Telugu and Kannada movies. She has recently participated at Jhalak Dikhla Jaa season 6. She has also done a Punjabi Film Viyah 70Km, which is slated to release in September 2013. She has been the winner of Fear Factor: khatron ke khiladi season 4.  Aarti Chhabria had won the title of “Miss India Worldwide 2000”in November 1999.

Aarti had started her modeling career at the age of 3. She was the Farex baby and appeared  in a lot of commercials including Maggi noodles,Pepsodent toothpaste,Clean And Clear face wash, Amul Frostick ice cream, LML Trendy Scooter, Krack Cream. Soon after she was crowned “Miss India Worldwide 2000”she started appearing in music videos her first video was Sukhwinder Singh's Nashi Hi Nasha, Adnan Sami's Roothe Hue Hai Kyo (from album Tera Chehra) and another titled Madhubala. Her first bollywood movie was in 2002 named “Tumse Achcha Kaun Hai”. In 2001 she did a cameo role in the movie Lajja  named Sushma. In 2002 she also appeared in “Awara Paagal Deewana”. She also did a lot of Telgu  and Kannada movies like Okariki Okaru and Rajani respectively. Aarti Chhabria has always been the talk of the town due to her on screen bold photoshoots and poses. She has done the role of  woman with a split personality in Raja Bhaiya, a belle who is a bar dancer, in love with an underworld don in Shootout at Lokhandwala, a housewife in Daddy Cool and a small town girl Suvarnalata in love with gold in Dus tola. 

She was the winner of the fourth season of Fear Factor - Khatron Ke Khiladi in 2011. Aarti has also studied Film Making at the New York Film Academy in New York in 2012.
