The True School of Music Try-Outs

The True School of Music Try-Outs at The Blue Frog on 14th of August, 2013 between 5 PM and 9 PM for all aspiring musicians. Come up on stage at the Blue Frog and try your hand at the instrument of your choice – Guitar, Bass Guitar, Keyboards, Drums, Tabla, Sitar, Harmonium, Flute or grab a mic if you want to sing. Any aspiring musician can pick up an instrument and showcase his talent. Play solo or accompanied, even form an impromptu band with your friends! A panel of eminent judges will choose the winners. Winners in each of the 10 categories  will get 1 month of free lessons at The True School of Music’s Foundation School starting September 16, 2013. Entry free.

Bringing together the power of technology with the world’s most efficient network of Mumbai d abbawalas , it was launched after a successful beta testing phase.  Papers N Parcels, the app-based courier service, has tied up with the Mumbai Dabbawalas to leverage the award-winning network of over 5000 dabbawalas  for door-to-door delivery and pick-up of packages within Mumbai City limits. Every dabbawalla who doubles up as a courier boy, carries an Android phone loaded with the Papers N Parcels app to take orders for pick-up or delivery. Mayor praises the footballing talent of Mumbai as he announces young stars will travel to London

The Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, announced the names of the successful youngsters on the first day of his trade mission to India. Sadiq was attending the ninth annual finals day of the Mumbai Soccer Challenge and watched a challenge match to win the inaugural Mayor of London Cup. He confirmed that, for the first time in the scheme’s nine-year history, two girls as well as two boys will be heading to London. The Mayor was joined at the finals day by Bollywood screen legend and the co-owner of Mumbai City football club, Ranbir Kapoor, as well as the Chairman of Queens Park Rangers, Tony Fernandes.
