MCDONALD’S® INDIA EXPANDS MENU WITH NEW FRESHLY PREPARED SAUCY WRAPS

~New Saucy Wraps are a permanent addition to McDonald’s all-day menu lineup~


~ Customers can choose from three varieties featuring fresh ingredients~

Mumbai, August 2014: Hardcastle Restaurants Private Limited (HRPL), a Master Franchisee for west & south India operations of McDonald’s and a subsidiary of Westlife Development Limited, a company listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE: 505533), announced the launch of its new Saucy Wraps.

McDonald’s India is now serving up to three varieties of the new Saucy Wraps - Aloo Wrap, Egg Wrap and Grilled Chicken Wrap - available any time of the day; to offer guests more choices to keep them running. Beginning August 1st this year, the three new Saucy Wraps are available at McDonald’s restaurants and through McDelivery, nationwide.


The entrée wrap rollout comes as part of McDonald’s broader initiative to offer wholesome menu options to customers, aiming to grow not just its share of sales in the QSR industry but in the industry as a whole.


A completely new addition to the McDonald’s India menu, Saucy Wraps feature the finest, high-quality fresh produce and ingredients wrapped in baked tortillas. The freshly prepared Saucy Wraps are part of McDonald’s commitment to offer customers a variety of relevant tastes and new food choices.

The new Saucy Wraps is served in a convenient hand-held package and serves as an excellent food option for busy people looking for a wholesome option on the go. Starting at Rs.49, the wrap is filled with fresh vegetables and chipotle sauces to give the products a tangy twist
                                                                               
The Saucy Wrap varieties include:

Aloo Wrap: Classic McAloo patty wrapped in a baked tortilla is garnished with fresh lettuce, onions and chipotle sauce
Grilled Chicken Wrap: Juicy and tender grilled chicken patty wrapped in a baked tortilla and topped with crispy lettuce, crunchy onions and chipotle sauce
Egg Wrap: Protein packed freshly steamed egg patty wrapped in a baked tortilla and garnished with crispy lettuce, sliced red onions and spicy chipotle sauce

The launch of the new Saucy Wraps is supported by a multi-channel advertising campaign. McDonald’s will run an integrated month long TV, Digital and outdoor campaign, accompanied by an in-restaurant merchandising. The campaign is based around the strap line ‘Khayega Toh Dil Gaayega’ and is on air since August 1, 2014.
