Swiss Military Worldwide, a premium global men’s lifestyle brand today announced its entry into the Mumbai market. The retail launch, as part of the brand’s ongoing retail expansion in India, saw tie-ups with Large Format Retail brands like Crossword, Shoppers Stop, Planet M, Landmark, Om Book Shop and Emerge. The brand also recently opened its 100th store in Jalandhar and is aiming for a rapid expansion followed by entry in Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and Southern India.

While the brand is primarily focusing on Multi Brand Outlets to expand its retail touch points in India, they will be opening 250 exclusive Swiss Military franchise stores and 8 company owned stores in line with their international stores for a complete retail experience. The aim is also to take the retail presence to over 1200 shop-in-shops by the end of next year.

In a move to become the first one-stop shop for men’s accessories in India, the brand will shortly be expanding its product range and launching Swiss Made Watches, Sunglasses, Electronics, Footwear and Cosmetics besides its existing product range comprising of Travel Gear, Writing Instruments, Lifestyle Accessories, Leather Goods and Garments. As a brand that keeps a sharp focus on investments in market research, R&D and design, the company is expecting to continue with its double-digit sales in India and grow further.
