The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) announced the result of Chartered Accountancy Final examination
held in May
/ June 2014.
CA.K.Raghu, President,
ICAI said “The CA course is
regularly updated and revised to meet the demands of the modern dynamic society
so as to produce competent CAs . ICAI has recently undertaken various
initiatives to realign accountancy education with global best practices. A Committee for Review of Education and Training (CRET) has
been set up which would make a comprehensive review of the entire structure of
education and training scheme for the CA course. ICAI will be launching a new
curriculum which will be modern and global. This initiative will go a long way in benchmarking
CA education with the best in the world.”
The top three rank holders of Final
Examinations held in May/June 2014 are from Jaipur, Jodhpur,
Pune and their details along with the marks secured by them are
mentioned at Annexure -A.
The result details of
the Final examination in
terms of pass percentage are mentioned at Annexure-B.

ICAI added “The Chartered Accountancy is a highly prestigious course and
is one of the most significant segments of the
economy. CAs today are in great demand not only in the traditional sectors like
banking, financial services or manufacturing but even in the new generation
sectors like the IT, ITS, telecom, Risk and Assurance Services ,Infrastructure
and Retail etc. Chartered Accountancy has now emerged as a unique profession of
considerable importance in view of the integrated globalized scenario”
