TSCFM Announces 'Kishinchand Thadomal Shahani' Merit Scholarships’ for Students

Mumbai : The leading Thadamol Shahani Centre for Management (TSCFM) has taken the innovative initiative of helping the deserving students to complete their management education by instituting 'Kishinchand Thadomal Shahani' merit scholarships’ on the eve of Teacher’s Day.

The Scholarships has been instituted in the name of 'Kishinchand Thadomal Shahani'the founder of the Thadomal Shahani Trust which has been actively helping the poor and needy since the last 60 years.

Elaborating on the scheme, Mr. Akhil Shahani-MD, TSCFM, said, “The Shahani Trust will contact various NGO to identify the deserving students for the scholarship, provide them education and placement”.

To commemorate Teacher's Day, TSCFM isalso launching 8 short-term programs both for students and working professionals. For students these short-term Diploma programs offer a unique opportunity to get industry-ready for a job even before they graduate! 

These include five programs for students - 

Diploma in Sales Management: 6 month Diploma in Sales Management will prepare students on all the things that a sales professionals needs to be aware of, in a manner that they doesn’t clash with existing college timetable. The classes will be held during weekday evenings or weekends. Totaling to about 300 hours, of which 120 hours will be devoted to intensive classroom instructions and 180 hours will be allocated to assignments and project-work in the field of sales with a reputed company.

Diploma in Banking Management:  6 –month Diploma in Banking Management will prepare students on all the things that a banking professional needs to be aware of, in a manner that they doesn’t clash with existing college timetable. The classes will be held during weekly evenings or weekends. Totaling to about 300 hours, of which 120 hours will be devoted to intensive classroom instruction and 180 hours will be allocated to assignments and project-work in the field of banking with a reputed company.

Diploma in Entrepreneurial Management: TSCFM’s Diploma in Entrepreneurial Management will provide students with a deeper understanding of the key areas students need to know and focus upon, in order to become a successful entrepreneur. Students will be guided and mentored by successful entrepreneurs while participating in this program. They will show students how to identify and develop opportunities, how to build connections, how to garner funding etc. all from their personal experiences.

Diploma in Media Management: 6 –month Diploma in Media Management will prepare students on all the things that a media manager needs to be aware of, in a manner that doesn’t clash with your existing college timetable. The classes will be held during weekday evenings or weekends. Totaling to about 300 hours, of which 120 hours will be devoted to intensive classroom instructions and 180 hours will be allocated to assignments and project- work in the field of media with a reputed company.
