‘Art from the Heart’

This Women’s Day, Shop for a Cause with Manubhai Jewellers

Incepted in 2014, ‘Art from the Heart’ is an annual Women’s Day Event where Manubhai Jewellers ties up with a women centric NGO that works towards women empowerment. Being a brand that has almost 90% of its staff comprising of women, this day becomes meaningful for Manubhai Jewellers.

The brand has taken a step forward to support woman empowerment by providing underprivileged women a platform to showcase and sell their products.

These women are a group of skilled artisans from the slums of Mumbai who are trained by Srujna Handicrafts. However, the opportunities for them to actually sell their products are very limited.

To stand alongside such underprivileged women Manubhai Jewellers has attempted to bridge this gap between the buyers and the artists.

‘Art from the Heart’ exhibition will be 3 daylong event from 2 nd March to 4 th March at
the Manubhai Jeweller’s Borivali West Store where the NGO will showcase and sell their handicraft products. The handmade products include jute bags, pouches, apparels, and a range of articles like lamps, planters, bowls, trays etc made of jute that is painted with organic colors.
