Volkswagen unveils India’s hottest hatch – Polo GTI

New Delhi, February 4, 2016: Volkswagen, Europe’s leading car manufacturer, today unveiled the Polo GTI at the 13thedition of the Delhi Auto Expo. The Polo GTI is truly India’s hottest hatchback and one of the most powerful car in its segment equipped with a 1.8 TSI engine mated with a 7 – speed DSG gear box. Under the hood of the Polo GTI is Volkswagen’s celebrated and established  TSI engine technology which combines direct gasoline injection with turbocharging and produces a blistering 141 KW (192 PS) of raw power. This combination results in unmatched power and fuel efficiency whilst also being kind to the environment.

Bringing together the power of technology with the world’s most efficient network of Mumbai d abbawalas , it was launched after a successful beta testing phase.  Papers N Parcels, the app-based courier service, has tied up with the Mumbai Dabbawalas to leverage the award-winning network of over 5000 dabbawalas  for door-to-door delivery and pick-up of packages within Mumbai City limits. Every dabbawalla who doubles up as a courier boy, carries an Android phone loaded with the Papers N Parcels app to take orders for pick-up or delivery. Mayor praises the footballing talent of Mumbai as he announces young stars will travel to London

The Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, announced the names of the successful youngsters on the first day of his trade mission to India. Sadiq was attending the ninth annual finals day of the Mumbai Soccer Challenge and watched a challenge match to win the inaugural Mayor of London Cup. He confirmed that, for the first time in the scheme’s nine-year history, two girls as well as two boys will be heading to London.
