The brand marked its 50th store at Bangalore this year and aims to open 25 more outlets in the country before the end of this calendar year. The 200 crore empire is a homegrown entity that was founded by Naresh Khatar, M.D, Me N Moms Pvt Ltd with a vision to be a one stop for all parenting and baby care needs in 1994. Started as a modest store in the suburbs of Mumbai it has been steadily growing at a pace of about 33% per annum.

The company also hosts a baby care and parenting label “Mee Mee” that offers more than 400 SKUs across categories like Skin and Oral Care, Feeding, Infant Utility Accessories, Travel, Nursery, Toys, Fashion and Maternity. This 'Make in India' firm caters to each and every need of a mother from the time she conceives her baby till the time her baby is 3 years old.

The company plans to launch 25 more outlets by the end of 2016 on their way to become India’s most popular parenting brand with a Pan India reach. Quality along with understanding towards babies and mommies needs has been a catalyst for the brand's success. Though the brand initially operated only on a Company Owned Company Operated (COCO) Model; the uniqueness of the business drew attention of not only the consumers but also investors and today works on franchise model too.

The brand brings with it a unique franchise model, where the store is handed over to the franchisee after the set up is put in place and business is established. It is handed over to the franchisee after sufficient training support. This secures the franchisee's interest and speeds up the ROI process, at the same time retain a consistent consumer experience and quality standards. Post-handover to the franchisee, the company provides HR, training, marketing, stock, & IT support thereby considerably reducing the burden and hassle for the franchisee.

All the franchisees have one hung in common - they share the same passion for the business that Me N Moms management has. The eligibility includes a minimum store space of 800 sq ft. and a basic franchise fees. Initially, the franchisee is also given 25% of inventory by the company and a 50% marketing budget is borne by Me N Moms. A franchisee is expected to ensure consumer’s interest is given the highest priority. The company has regional offices in all the zones of India to offer uninterrupted customer service to their retail partners/network and customers throughout the country.
