Milind Soman spotted at the Pattaya Marathon

SPOTTED at the Pattaya Marathon: Milind Soman ran the Pattaya Marathon with four winners of Pinkathon (Soman’s breast-cancer awareness initiative; a women’s marathon held across 8 Indian cities). He and the winning runners from the Mumbai, Hyderabad, Chennai and Bangalore marathons, not only participated in the world-famous Pattaya Marathon, held on its popular Pattaya Beach Road, but are also podium finishers.
Our Indian women are making us proud around the world. Nilam Rajput from Mumbai stands 1st and Supriya Mali from Hyderabad takes the 3rd place at the Pattaya Marathon in the age group of 25 – 34. V Priyanka from Chennai secures the 6th position in the age group of 19 – 24. The Tourism Authority of Thailand partnered with Pinkathon in order to create awareness about Thailand as the perfect getaway for women travelers. Heartiest Congratulations to all the winners of the 21kms women half Marathon.

Mayor praises the footballing talent of Mumbai as he announces young stars will travel to London

The Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, announced the names of the successful youngsters on the first day of his trade mission to India. Sadiq was attending the ninth annual finals day of the Mumbai Soccer Challenge and watched a challenge match to win the inaugural Mayor of London Cup. He confirmed that, for the first time in the scheme’s nine-year history, two girls as well as two boys will be heading to London. The Mayor was joined at the finals day by Bollywood screen legend and the co-owner of Mumbai City football club, Ranbir Kapoor, as well as the Chairman of Queens Park Rangers, Tony Fernandes.
