To cite a few: the company converted over 55,000 sites into green sites; to make diesel free sites, the company installed Free Cooling Units (FCU), Natural Cooling Units + Turbo, Micro Cooling Unit, Solar power FCU and Solar PV leading to energy savings. Optimization of energy consumption has not only brought down the cost of operations but has also created a positive impact on environment.
This goal of continuously transforming through technology innovation also reflects in how Indus Towers drives a connected workforce for operations and maintenance by equipping them with tablets and smartphones with GEO mapping (IMAPP).
