Disbursement of Scholarship Awards to the winners of Deen Dayal SPARSH Yojana 2018-19

A function for disbursement of Scholarship Awards to the winners of Deen Dayal SPARSH Yojana  2018-19 was arranged in Mumbai GPO. This Scholarship was launched in July 2018. Total 323 entries appeared for Scholarship. Out of which following five students were awarded Scholarship through the auspicious hands of Ms Swati Pandey Postmaster General Mumbai. Certificates to all the participants were also distributed.

In said function a book “FIRSTS IN INDIAN PHILATELY” authored by Shri Cyrus D Sidhva was also released by Ms Swati Pandey, Postmaster General Mumbai.  Juries, Award winners, Officers and staff of Mumbai GPO were present for said function.

Mumbaikars kick off “Clean Shores” Drive at Versova Beach

Present to support the cause were Erik Solheim, United Nations Under-Secretary-General and Head of UN Environment and Aditya Thackeray, Leader and Chairperson of the Shiv Sena and President of Yuva Sena . Oman Tourism Launches New “www.experienceoman.com” website

The website was lau nched under the patronage of His Highness Sayyid Haitham bin Tariq Al Said, Minister of Heritage and Culture during a gala dinner that was hosted on the sidelines of the 2nd UNWTO/UNESCO World Conference on Tourism and Culture that was recently held in Muscat.
