 "Romantic Rafi" to be staged by the
Rafi Foundation
 
Free Wheel Chairs to be distributed

Charity  musical titled "Romantic Rafi" will be
staged by the Rafi Foundation on Friday, June 7th
at the P.Thackaray auditorium at Borivli, Mumbai.

Music lovers will be treated with a bouquet of Romantic  - Solos, duets and chorus songs sung by the  legendary Mohd Rafi . 
Added attraction to the musical event is the Choreography by the team of Lalita Sony,music arrangement  by veteran arranger Nandu Kerkar and a solo performance by eminent bollywood  guitarist Ramesh Iyer.
 
Six handicapped persons will receive free wheel chairs on the occassion said Binu Nair, Founder of Rafi Foundation.
Popular singers : Mukesh Bhanushali, Hamid Khan,Mona Kamat will belt out Rafi gems such as :
'Kaun hai jo sapnon me aaya", Hai duniya usiki 
zamana usika, Aaj to jumli raat ma, Tum jo mil gaye ho, Na Jhatko julf se paani, Taaron ki zuban par hai,Rang rang ke phool khile among others said Mr Binu Nair, Founder of the Rafi Foundation.

Oman Tourism Launches New “www.experienceoman.com” website

The website was lau nched under the patronage of His Highness Sayyid Haitham bin Tariq Al Said, Minister of Heritage and Culture during a gala dinner that was hosted on the sidelines of the 2nd UNWTO/UNESCO World Conference on Tourism and Culture that was recently held in Muscat. Mayor praises the footballing talent of Mumbai as he announces young stars will travel to London

The Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, announced the names of the successful youngsters on the first day of his trade mission to India. Sadiq was attending the ninth annual finals day of the Mumbai Soccer Challenge and watched a challenge match to win the inaugural Mayor of London Cup. He confirmed that, for the first time in the scheme’s nine-year history, two girls as well as two boys will be heading to London. The Mayor was joined at the finals day by Bollywood screen legend and the co-owner of Mumbai City football club, Ranbir Kapoor, as well as the Chairman of Queens Park Rangers, Tony Fernandes.
