The Indian Institute of Packaging conducted the entrance exam for its prestigious two year full time PG Diploma in Packaging on 20th June, 2013.
Further evaluation (personal interviews) of the qualifying students of the entrance examinations will be conducted at the Head Office of IIP at Mumbai, and Regional Centres at Hyderabad, Kolkata and Delhi in the month of July, 2013. The institute saw a 25% jump in the number of applications this year.
Prof. N C Saha, Director IIP says, “there was enthusiastic participation from all five centres. Mumbai and Delhi were packed to capacity, followed by Kolkata, Chennai and Hyderabad.The dates for declaration of result are 16th July 2013 and the admission process will start from 8th August 2013”.

About Indian Institute of packaging (IIP)
The Indian Institute of Packaging was set up in May 1966 by the Indian Packaging and allied industry and the Government of India, Ministry of Commerce with the specific objective of improving packaging standards.
IIP’s endeavor is to improve the standards of packaging needed for the promotion of exports and help create infrastructural facilities for overall packaging improvement in India through Research and Development, problem solving consultancy and testing, training and education, industrial co-ordination, information dissemination and other promotional efforts.
