WIRC elected New Office Bearers of WIRC of ICAI for the year 2017-2018

Western India Regional Council of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India at its 321st meeting held on Friday, 24th February 2017 has elected the following Regional Council Members as Office Bearers of WIRC of ICAI for the year 2017-2018.


CA. Vishnu Agarwal, Mumbai - Chairman

CA. Sarvesh Joshi, Pune - Vice-Chairman

CA. Aniket Talati, Ahmedabad - Secretary

CA. Pradeep Agrawal, Baroda - Treasurer


It is also informed that CA. Balkishan Agarwal, Surat has been elected as Chairman of the Western India Chartered Accountants Students Association (WICASA) for the year 2017-18.

Mayor praises the footballing talent of Mumbai as he announces young stars will travel to London

The Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, announced the names of the successful youngsters on the first day of his trade mission to India. Sadiq was attending the ninth annual finals day of the Mumbai Soccer Challenge and watched a challenge match to win the inaugural Mayor of London Cup. He confirmed that, for the first time in the scheme’s nine-year history, two girls as well as two boys will be heading to London. The Mayor was joined at the finals day by Bollywood screen legend and the co-owner of Mumbai City football club, Ranbir Kapoor, as well as the Chairman of Queens Park Rangers, Tony Fernandes.
