Delhi Marathoners Breathe Easy With Soulflower’s Aroma Oils

In a first of its kind, the Delhi Half Marathon that took place last Sunday witnessed a new way to keep the participants breathing easy and healthy as they ran the 21 km stretch. In view of the air pollution in the city, Soulflower – India’s leading brand for natural aroma and personal care products worked out an ingenious solution to alleviate the issue for the runners. Soulflower placed 150 mist fans across the race routes that sprinkled a blend of pure essential oils to help boost the respiratory system and oxygenate the runners. The mist fans were deployed at varying heights to evenly spread the blend at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium from 2am to 11am on 19th Nov, 2017. 
“There were concerns with regards to the runners’ health especially due to high levels of air pollution. Since the marathoners had put in a lot of energy and time in preparing for this event, they did not wish to bail out despite the pollution crises. So the organizers decided to offer them a way out which could help reduce the effect of pollution and offer them something to feel energized with. By dissipating a blend of pure essential oils, which are known for their calming effect and boosting energy, we ensured a much better environment for the runners,” says Mr Amit Sarda, Managing Director, Soulflower. Soulflower has aromatized over 500 of establishments which include malls, hotels, temples and showrooms.
