The L’Oréal India sustainability commitment

Mumbai, October 7, 2015: L'Oréal India, revealed its local sustainability initiatives of ‘Sharing Beauty With All’ (SBWA) for India, as a part of its long standing commitment to sustainable development and commitment to social progress. SBWA is an ambitious universal project in which L’Oréal will take up a new stance in relation to its consumers, suppliers and communities. The priority for L’Oréal in India is to be a best practice leader in women’s empowerment, skill development and environmental sustainability.


The company has already made significant strides in achieving its goal to make a difference to Indian society and across its entire value chain. Some of the key highlights of their various program and goals are as below





“As we have ambitious plans for the growth of our business, the time is right to take a big leap forward and raise the bar for sustainability throughout our entire value chain. With this in mind, we are proud to announce the launch of Sharing Beauty With All, our new sustainability commitment for 2020,” said Jean-Christophe LETELLIER, MD, L’Oréal India. Envisioning the future success of SBWA, he further states, “by 2020, we will empower every L'Oréal consumer to make sustainable consumption choices while enhancing the beauty of the planet.”
