JIMS students bring out the best of
 ‘STYLE N TRENDS’

·       Showcase their creativity on ramp at annual fashion show

·       Fashion designer Samant Chouhan and wellness expert Vesna Jacob  were guests of honor
New Delhi, April 9, 2013: It was a majestic display of fashion and creativity as students of JIMS’ Fashion Department showcased their creations and walked the ramp for the fifth annual ‘Style & Trends’ show at a glitzy and glam evening.

The glam quotient was upped by the presence of big names from the fashion and beauty industry, including fashion designer Ramon Lamba, and veteran beauty expert Meenakshi Dutt who was present along with her better-half Umesh Dutt.
Young & Enthusiast Fashion designers like duo Bharat & Reshma Grover, Dhruv Gupta, Gautam Gupta, Dolly J & Ankita Chaudhary were also present as guest of honors to motivate budding ones.
Wellness expert Vesna Jacob, Arpita Bansal, Rita Gangwani, Dr Varun Katyal, Choreographer Kaushik Ghosh and Vice chairman Deepak Gupta were the guests of honor at the glittery fashion show hosted by JIMS Fashion Department, Rohini.

Enthusiastic and eager to display their talent, students sashayed across the ramp with confidence showcasing their creative designs and dazzling the audience and judges.
This year marked the fifth edition of ‘Style & Trends’ which has become a major event in the JIMS calendar as students looking forward to make a mark in the fashion industry vie for the coveted ‘Best Budding Designer’ of the year title.
“It is a pleasure for us to see our fashion students’ work so hard to make this annual event a hit.
This not only brings out the best of creativity in them but also gives them an idea of the competitive professional world where they would be stepping out soon,” said Preeti Batra, Head of Dept. Fashion & Designing JIMS.
