Sarvam Shashvatam” saw a unique exhibition by architect and artist Sharvari Luth, and designer Shobhana Datar along with her daughter Sneha Datar-Limaye featuring an exclusive art and couture exhibition for its audience on Monday, 14th October at Vivanta, Taj President, Cuffe Parade, Mumbai. 

Gracing the exhibition with her presence Chief Guest Hema Malini inaugurated Sarvam Shashvatam, witnessed by an enthusiastic gathering.


The exhibition was set in motion when Padmashri Hema Malini, an actress and artist of repute cut the ribbon and lit the ceremonial lamp, ushering the beginning of the exhibition. 

The event was graced by several eminent personalities like Sharmila Thackeray, Mrs Shefali Bhujbal, Harsh Goenka, Raageshwari, Pooja Bedi, Consul General of Singapore, Rashmi Uday Singh, Deepak Mazomdar, Gul Kripalani, Sonali Rathore, Roop kumar Rathore, Arch Jimmy Mistry, Arch Noshir Talathi, Farukh Wadia, Mrs, Reema Lagu, Smita Talwalkar, Ex Min Jaiwantiben Mehtaand and many others.


The three day exhibition will offer a holistic and personalized shopping experience all under one roof with exclusive range of paintings, artwork, apparels, jewellery and accessories. 


One of the unique aspects of this exhibition are abstract and semiabstract paintings of flowers wherein the artist that tried to showcase its boldness and subtleties, its surprising softness, its simplicity and its complexity. 


The powerful language of colour, shape and movement that goes to make a flower has compelled the artist to try and preserve their beauty in the flower paintings. Be a part of the exhibition where in you will enjoy the language of flowers of abstract paintings along with the Woven Mysteries of sarees, jewellery, home décor items along with accessories. 


Along with it is on display a variety of authentic and original sarees, sarees, suits, jewellery, handbags all designed in-house having a traditional as well as a contemprary touch from different parts of the country designed by the designers themselves.Commenting about the exhibition designer Shobhana Datar said “Being from two different fields of fashion and art what brought Sharvari and me together to do this exclusive exhibition of art and couture was the desire to create something unique through our own mediums. And what binds us together is the common bond of vibrant colours, abstract designs and sheer joy of creation.”


Sharing her views about the exhibition artist Sharvari Luth said, “It is an initiative where Shobhana and I have come together on a common platform to display creativity through art as well as fashion. Our medium may vary but it is creativity at its best. It will be an unusual treat for anyone who appreciates the finer nuances of life. This exhibition displays a rare amalgamation of Art meeting Fashion under one roof.  The proceeds generated from the sale of my artwork always helps as it is utilized for the education of under privileged children. “

Sarvam Shashvatam is scheduled from 14th October, 2013 to 16th October, 2013 at Vivanta, Taj President, Cuffe Parade, Mumbai.
