Mumbai, 25th June 2016 : Aéropostale enters the Bollywood capital with two stores launching today at Oberoi Mall, Goregaon and Infinity Mall, Malad. Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandezkick-started the celebrations with the Aero Crew as they danced away at the launch of Mumbai’s first Aéropostale store at Oberoi Mall.
The collection will have the trademark Aéropostale products such as heritage logo t-shirts, signature track pants as well as special offerings from the Live Love Dream collection and Stretchy shorts. The two Mumbai stores werefollowed by four store launches in New Delhi, Noida, Indore, Bengaluru, finally allowing the brand to establish itself across four of the leading fashion markets in India. The new stores in Mumbai at Oberoi Mall, and Infiniti Mall are spread over 3300 sq.ft and1800 sq. ft respectively.
Dressed in Aéropostale’s signature logo tee and stretchy jeans, Bollywood Actress Jacqueline said, “I am so excited to be a part of Mumbai’s first ever Aéropostale store. The new summer collection is pretty cool and I love everything about it- right from the stretchy jeans, shorts to their cool crop tops and t-shirts. Their logo t-shirts and comfortable track pants are a must have for everyone as they never go out of fashion. The styles reflect the young and vibrant attitude of Mumbai’s youth, and I am sure that it will gain immense popularity and success in this effervescent city.”
Alongside her were J. Suresh, MD and CEO, Arvind Lifestyle Brands and Kenneth Ohashi, Senior Vice President, International and Global Licensing at Aéropostale, Inc.as they opened the store to excited Mumbaikars.
