Mumbai; Mumbai’s leading jewellery brand Manubhai
Jewellers; known for their artful
jewellery, takes an innovative CSR step of the year by launching
‘#MJGreenBrigade’ this World Environment Day’ with an aim to create awareness
amongst their patrons about the importance of greenery and environment.
On World Environment Day, the
store welcomed each customer with a smile and little plant saplings of
fittonias and syngoniums. Staff members too were given little saplings that
they adopted with an environment friendly message. This was the brand’s second
CSR initiative after three successful years of ‘Art from Heart’ that supports
women empowerment. ‘#MJGreenBrigade’ received a heart-warming response from
customers, staff as well as bloggers and found homes for more than 250
saplings.
On the eve of World Environment Day, Samir
Sagar, Director, Manubhai Jewellers commented, ‘We at Manubhai Jewellers are
constantly evolving with changing global scenario and as we are aware, this
year the summer has been extreme and global warming has started showing evident
impact. The need of hour is to create awareness amongst people that this
phenomenon is real and ‘#MJGreenBrigade’ is a small step towards the same.’
