Sixth Sense Horror Film Festival to showcase Marathi Horror Film “Found Footage”

Mumbai, 10th May 2017: The Sixth Sense Horror Film Festival, by Resources Go Beyond will showcase “Found Footage”, a Marathi horror film on 19th May 2017 at the Ravindra Natya Mandir at 9.00 p.m. “Found Footage” is the first ever Marathi film which is termed after the very technique used to shoot the film. The film is been directed by the debutant “Sushrut Mankani”, son of veteran Marathi actor Ravindra Mankani. The movie is also Mankani’s directorial debut.

The film showcases the journey of four friends who call themselves ghost hunters. They go on a mission to find a ghost which is haunting a school premise since a long time, and has the history too. So, they are hired to give a white light to the ghost and free them from the premise but when they enter the school premise at night to find the ghost, things go wrong, which is not in the plan and what not happens with them. The real ghost comes out which they don’t know about and then they have to face the circumstances.
 
Shaunak Sirrole who is the Content head and the Festival director of Sixth Sense Horror Film Festival said, it is very exciting to showcase and screen a movie like “Found Footage” which is made on a total different format. We at The Sixth Sense Horror Film Festival provide a platform where all the talented movie makers can showcase their movies with appreciations.  

The Sixth Sense Horror Film Festival is scheduled to be held from 18th to 20th of May 2017 at YB Chauhan and Ravindra Natya Mandir in Mumbai. The three day short film festival is dedicated to honoring and celebrating the legacy to short horror films. It aims to appreciate and support established and upcoming filmmakers dedicated to the horror genre.
