GURUPOURNIMA UTSAV AT SHIRDI

Shri Saibaba Sansthan Trust (Shirdi) will be organizing Shri Gurupournima Celebrations between Thursday 26th July 2018 and Saturday 28th July 2018. Various religious and cultural programs have also been organized within these celebrations. According to the information provided by Smt. Rubal Agrawal, Chief Executive Officer of the Sansthan, Pandit Hariprasad Chourasia, Mumbai and Pandit Vijay Ghate, Pune will perform Flute recital at 7.30 pm on the 27th July 2018.
Smt. Agrawal said that in order to facilitate large number of devotees arriving from various corners of the State and Nation at Temple area, Darshan Q, Sai Udyan and additional accommodation has been arranged with cloth pendals near Sai Prasad Bhakta Niwas, Sai Ashram Bhakta Niwas area, new Bhakta Niwas (500 Rooms) area, Sai Dharmashal area and at Palanquin halting bases at Nirmal Pimpri, Shingwe Naik and Guha on the Ahmednagar-Shiri Road. Due to rainy days at present the pandals have ben covered with tarpaulin. Drinking water arrangements have been made through tankers for Palkhi devotees. On behalf of the Sansthan the Palkhis will be welcomed near Shirdi Nagar Panchayat and Shirdi Police Station. In order that the devotees can easily get the Prasad, around 80 Quintals of sugar has been used for preparation of Bundi and 130 Quintals of sugar has been used for preparation of Prasad Ladu.
On the occasion of Shri Gurupournima Celebrations programs by various artists have been arranged on the stage near Samadhi Temple. A Keertan by HBP Shri Charudatt Govindswami Aaphle, Pune will be held between 4 pm and 6 pm on the 26th July 2018 followed by Bhajan Sandhya program by Shri Vishwanath Oza, Shrirampur. On the main day of the celebrations 27th July 2018, Keertan by HBP Shri Charudatt Govindswami Aaphle, Pune will be held between 4 pm and 6 pm. On the same day a Flute recital by Pandit Hariprasad Chourasia, Mumbai and Pandit Vijay Ghate, Pune will be held between 7.30 pm and 10.30 pm. On the concluding day of the celebrations 28th July 2018, there will be Kala Keertan by HBP Shri Charudatt Govindswami Aaphle, Pune at 10 am. On the same day Sai Bhajan program by Shri Sudhanshu Lokegaonkar, Shirdi will be held between 7.30 pm and 9.00 pm. Shri Achal Sharma, Raipur will be performing Sai Bhajan program between 9.00 pm and 9.45 pm followed by Sai Bhajan by Shri Madan Chauhan Raipur between 9.45 pm and 11.00 pm. The Samadhi Temple will be open for DARSHAN entire night on 28th JULY 2018. Programs by invited artists will be held at the stage at Shri Saibaba Samadhi Shatabdi Mandap, near Hanuman Temple. Keertan program will be held at the stage near Shri Saibaba Samadhi Temple. Flower decoration on the occasion of Celebrations will be created at Samdhi Temple and Temple area with a donation from Sai devotee Shri Anand Sonawane from Nashik and attractive electric lighting decoration has been organized on behalf of Sairaj Decorators, Mumbai.
There will be free Prasad Bhojan on all the three days of the Utsav through donations from Sai devotees. During the celebrations First Aid centers  have been organized at Temple area, Shatabdi Mandap at Shri Saibaba Samadhi Temple near Hanuman Temple, Sai Ashram, Shri Sai Prasadalaya and other locations and for urgent medical care services Ambulance has been placed at  Temple area, Shri Sai Prasadalaya and Sai Ashram. Medical teams have been placed in two shifts at Darshan Q.
Under the guidance of Sansthan Chairman Dr Suresh Haware, Vice Chairman Chadrashekhar Kadam and Board of Trustees Deputy Collectors, Dhananjay Nikam and Manoj Ghode Patil, Dy Chief Executive Officer Babasaheb Ghorpade, Deputy Superintendent of Police Mr. Anand Bhoite, all Administrative Officers, all Heads of Departments and staff are making efforts in order to make the Celebrations successful.
