Air Arabia launches service to
Rostov, Russia

Mumbai : Air Arabia, the first and largest low-cost carrier (LCC) in the Middle
East and North Africa, today announced the launch of services to Rostov, its fifth destination in Russia. Flights to the Russian city will commence on November 02, marking Air Arabia’s81stdestination worldwide.
The carrier will offer two weekly services between Sharjah and Rostov on Tuesdays and Fridays. Flights depart from Sharjah International Airport at 22:40 and arrive Rostov Airport at 02:55 (next day). Return flights will depart from Rostov on Wednesdays and Saturdays at 03:55 and arrive in Sharjah at 07:55(local time).
“The introduction of direct services to Rostov underscores Air Arabia’s commitment to make air travel more convenient for our passengers,” saidAdel Ali, Group Chief Executive Officer, Air Arabia. “We will continue to focus on our route expansion strategy in the Russian Federation and Eastern European sectors where we have launched a number of new destinations since the beginning of this year. We are confident that the new service will offer our customers a great choice for affordable travel and further contribute to the strong trade and tourism relations between the UAE and Russia.”
Since launching operations to Russia in October 2011, Air Arabia has seen promising appeal for customers between the UAE and Russia. The airline is committed to using its infrastructure to improve its connectivity with increased services to more destinations in Russia and the wider CIS region. The new service to Rostov complements Air Arabia’s existing services to Moscow, Yekaterinburg, Kazan and Uffa. In addition, the airline expects to launch new service to MIneralnye Vody in Russia in the near future
