India Harmony Foundation holds Chishti Harmony Award 2012

New Delhi : India Harmony Foundation honored people with Chishti

Harmony Awards 2012 for their work towards society and bringing amity. Chishti Harmony Awards is a medium to encourage the initiative taken by different people on the path of uplift harmony among different communities.
The event started by honoring Begum Hamida Habibullah, Shri Harsh Mander & Smt Usha Kumar with with the esteemed “Chishti Harmony Award 2012” for their continuous selfless work of over two decades in building bridges between communities. Smt Kumari Selja, Hon’ble Union Minister for Culture Housing and Poverty alleviation will be presenting the awards. This was followed by Musical film based on the legendary romance of Sultan Quli Qutb Shah and Bhagmati founders of Hyderabad, a city built as a symbol of love.
Shri Zafar Saifullah, Former Cabinet Secretary, Government of India & Founder President of IHF said, “The India Harmony Foundation aims to make a contribution to endorse national harmony. IHF helps is ‘to build bridges between communities’ and promote national harmony, restoring through a sustained series of confidence-building measures, peace, harmony and genuine fellowship between different communities living in India. Be it big or small, we encourage every single step taken towards strengthening the social fabric of our country.”
