National Institute of Industrial Engineering organises XXI Convocation Ceremony
Since its inception in 1963,National Institute of Industrial Engineering (NITIE) is tirelessly striving to be the thought leader in Industrial Engineering education, research and partnering in the manufacturing renaissance of the nation.
In an elegant ceremony, the Director of NITIE, Ms.Karuna Jain presented the annual report of NITIE which threw light on the various achievements of NITIE during the academic year and details of the National and International Conferences that were hosted during the year.
17 students received fellowship degrees as well as students received their post graduate diploma from the Honourable Director of NITIE, Ms.Karuna Jain.
Prof. Ram Shankar Katheria, Honourable Minister of State (MoS) for Human Resource Development (Higher Education), Government of India, awarded prizes for the toppers in the various programmes. The best summer projects were feted with awards highlighting the rich industry relevant curriculum followed at NITIE. He also delivered the XXI convocation address.
The function concluded with the National Anthem.
