Mumbai, October 2016: Sheru Classic and ABEC successfully launched the International Health and Fitness Festival, Sheru Classic, an international fitness exposition. The event will showcase a vast number of brands and activity camps by experts from the world of health, fitness and wellness, over three days, 14-15-16 October, 2016.

IHFF was announced by Mr. Sumit Gandhi (Chairman, ABEC Ltd.) along with Mr. Manish Gandhi (COO, ABEC Ltd.), Mr.  Sheru Aangrish (Founder, Sheru Classic), Mr. Hemant Aangrish (Co-Founder, Sheru Classic) in the presence of some of the leading international names from the world of fitness and body building like Kai Greene, Rita Singh, Deepika Choudhary, Shannon Dey, Brian Shaw, Roelly Winklaar, IFBB pro bodybuilder Mr. Varinder Ghuman and Sergi Constance. Actor Sahil Khan, popular as Indian Rambo,thanks to his aesthetic physique, was also present.

During this occasion present were esteemed personalities Mr. Adarsh Somani, Chairman, Big Flex Enterprises, and Mr. Mahesh Israni, CMO, Parag Milk Products, amongst others who have showed their support and are part of this one-of-a-kind Health & Fitness Festival.

IHFF Sheru Classic will showcase a plethora of sporting events including competitions like Strongman Championship undersupervision of Strongman Corporation USA, Arm Wrestling Championship in association with Indian Arm Wrestling Federation, Powerlifting and Battle of Fittest by Shivfit, Male Model search, Female Model search, 8th National Bodylifting Championship, MMA Championship and much more. This magnanimous expo will put forth over 200 brands that will be well represented at the B2B exhibition.

There will be many big Indian & International names and brands who will be adding to the magnanimity of Sheru Classic 2016.  MMA Championship will be supported by KHK, Bahrain and All Indian MMA Association. Team OXYGEN under the leadership of Mr. Bader Boodai and Team Bombshell, USA wil be supporting and promoting the expo. Revered names like Kai Geene, Big Ramy, Roelly Winklar and more will be guest posing for public viewing. The famous Brian Shaw himself will be promoting Strongmann Competition whereas Mr. Baqar Nasser will be spearheading Spinathon part at Sheru Classic 2016. 

To add to the commerce, FICCI has also extended support by constituting a Sheru Classic Panel for discussion on ‘Importance of Fitness in Sports Performance’. The illustrious panel will include Mr. Dharmesh Jain, Mr. Adil Sumariwala, Mr. Sushil Kumar, Mr. Sardar Singh and Mr. Ajit M Sharan.

 ABOUT THE SPORTSMEN:

• Kai L. Greene, is an American IFBB (International Federation of Body Building) professional bodybuilder. He won Mr. Olympia competition and Arnold Classic 2016 too

• Sahil Khan is known as the Official Aesthetic King of India and popularly called as Indian Rambo. He is also the brand ambassador for the Mumbai Body Building Association, as well as for Indian Sports & Fitness Carnival. Also co-owns the first Open Air Gym in Goa

• Ms. Rita Singh, is the first Indian woman to compete and win a silver medal in the Masters above the age group of 45+ in the figure division at the prestigious Arnold Classic, 2016.

• Ms. Deepika Choudhary, is India’s first female figure champ and professional athlete to be to accepted in the category by the International Federation of Body Building (IFBB), and has represented the country in many competitions internationally. She has won the first place in the “Battle Of The Beach” in both the novice and open class and also the Ft. Lauderdale Cup in 2014. She is also virologist by profession.

• Varinder Singh Ghuman is an Indian professional bodybuilder and Punjabi wrestler. He has won Mr. India in 2009 and was awarded 2nd place in Mr. Asia. He appeared in Punjabi Movie Kabaddi Once Again as lead actor in 2012.

• Brian Shaw, is an American professional strongman competitor and winner of the World's Strongest Man four times, and is believed to be the strongest man in history. He is also the won the Arnold Strongman Classic in 2011 and the World’s Strongest Man contest in 2015.

• Ms. Shannon Dey, is a professional body builder, figure champ, fitness entrepreneur and motivation speaker. She has won several body building championships, has a successful chain of fitness centres in Florida
