Blood Donation Camp on Gandhi Jayanti by Corporation Bank






Shri Ajai Kumar, CMD of the Bank at the Blood Donation Camp organized by the Bank on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti at its Corporate Office in Mangalore.
        Corporation Bank Sports and Recreation Club, organized a voluntary Blood Donation Camp on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti at Corporate Office of the Bank in Mangalore.

            Various social organizations, employees of the Bank and citizens of Mangalore participated in the Blood Donation Camp. Shri Ajai Kumar, Chairman & Managing Director of the Bank inaugurated the Blood Donation Camp in the presence of Shri Ashwani Kumar, Executive Director of the Bank. Shri K Ramamurthy, General Manager and President, Corporation Bank Sports and Recreation Club, General Managers & Executives of the Bank were present on the occasion.

            Over 100 donors donated the Blood for the noble cause. The donated blood will be used by the Red Cross Society and Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore for the needy patients.

            Speaking on the occasion Shri Ajai Kumar, Chairman & Managing Director of the Bank said, “Corporation Bank Sports and Recreation Club, has organized this blood donation camp on this auspicious occasion of Gandhi Jayanti towards the welfare of the community. We are very happy and proud to do this event because we believe that we should continue towards the welfare of the society and also continue to organize such camps all over the country in times to come. We look forward to more and more people participating in these camps and contributing from their part for the welfare of the society.”

            Corporation Bank has been in the forefront in involving in issues concerning the welfare of the society and also in responding positively to the needs of the people, particularly the underprivileged section of the society as part of its corporate social responsibilities.
