Looking lovely in a midnight blue saree, actress Raima Sen recently launched the Nesta Furniture store and also their mobile furniture store in Kolkata. Of course, a huge crowd gathered to see the star and she was happy to pose for the shutterbugs.

Mumbai, October, 2012: Makers of the well-known ‘Centuryply’ brand of plywood and decorative veneers, Century Plyboards (I) Ltd., launched their lifestyle Nesta Store in Kolkata. Nesta Furniture aims to provide authentic and stylish furniture and home decor accessories at affordable prices to the Indian customer. The sprawling 7500 sq ft store with plush interiors and comforting ambience was launched by Mr. Sanjay Agarwal, Managing Director, Century Plyboards (I) Limited, along with actress Raima Sen in Kolkata. Housing an enviable range of varied home decorating options, Nesta will be a must visit destination during Pujo and the approaching Diwali season.

Announcement of the Kolkata store is the second in the series of furniture retail stores to be launched across the country. Nesta envisages creation of 3.5 million square feet of retail space with 111 outlets in the next 5 years with a projected turnover of Rs 500 Crores with an initial investment of Rs. 100 Crores. Centuryply plans to open almost 35 Nesta Furniture stores in the eastern region.

The store will provide the ability to visualize the furniture in a room. Customers can choose colours, different options for each room to get the perfect look, furnish the room dimensions and visualize how the furniture will look in your home on a giant LED wall in an exclusive zone ensconced to give you privacy. Each piece of furniture or accessory placed in the store has undergone stringent quality checks and has passed a wide array of style filters and is stamped with the proprietary 'Authenticity of wood, Guaranteed' seal.
