Chennai, 15th April, 2015: Known for its
enigmatic yet subtle style and innate strength, the precious metal platinum
remains the obvious choice when it comes to men’s jewellery and this festive
season, Prince Jewellery exclusively
launches an aesthetic and exquisite range of platinum jewellery for men with
the versatile and stylish Dulquer Salmaan. Redefining
the shopping experience with their revamped stores in Panagal Park
and Cathedral, Prince Jewellers offers a new range of platinum, diamonds and
precious stone jewellery under the new brand ‘Prince Diamonds’.
Prince
Jewellery expands its footprint by offering a variety of eye-catching and
attractive, aesthetic and modern
designs showcased beautifully across the stores, just in time for the
auspicious occasion of Akshaya Trithya. The new collections includes Prince Solitaires, His & Hers wedding and
engagement rings, Alrosa, Nava, Soulmates and Princess, a Bridal jewellery collection exquisitely set in gold and platinum to accentuate
the beauty of the bride. The occasion also marks the landmark moment of the
fourth generation taking over the reins of the brand and expanding the
offerings.
At the launch of
Prince’s new Men’s Platinum Jewellery range, the young and dynamic Dulquer
Salmaan said, “It’s a known fact that platinum has fascinated many through the
ages and the classic and sophisticated designs in this noble metal continue to
be fitting choice for men in jewellery. A great virtue of this metal that
appeals to me is its unmatched purity and strength. True to its unchanging
natural form, platinum can withstand
the rigours of daily wear. The new
range of platinum designs by Prince Jewellers is stunning yet unpretentious
making it the perfect reflection of style for today’s man.”
Commenting on the
launch of the new platinum collection, Mr. Prince, MD, Prince Jewellery, said,
“The evolving demand in the men’s jewellery segment has gone beyond just rings
and bands in platinum and is leaning more towards chains and bracelets. Our new
Men’s Platinum Jewellery range at Prince offers our customers a variety of
choices with sophisticated bracelets, rings and striking chains and cufflinks
that perfectly suit the sensibility of the Indian man. Today, we are privileged
to have the befitting and charismatic Dulquer Salmaan with us for this launch.
A trendsetter of his generation, his dynamic personality is a true reflection
of style and substance, just like platinum.
Platinum appeals to the man’s sense of
practicality as the metal withstand the rigors of daily wear. It does not wear
away and does not fade or tarnish over time. It is a highly precious and
valuable metal and therefore satisfies the price and value consideration
as platinum offers the wearer exclusivity.
Platinum is a naturally occurring eternal
white metal and an expression of integrity. It is about 11% more dense
than gold and weighs a little more than 1330 pounds per cubic foot, which is
about half a ton! That means a six inch cube of this metal weighs about as much
than the average man.
