Mumbai​, ​April 1, 2015​: ​The who';s who of Mumbai​';s high society ​made their way to​ Juhu for the launch of the flag ship store of Vedaa contemporary weaves - ​ India';s legacy saree brand that showcases timeless art forms with contemporary designs and styles that are both elegant and stylish.

  

After existing for over a decade and building our clientele amongst the real women of India and the who’s who of Mumbai, Vedaa';s celeb studded store launch saw the likes of Bollywood current heart throb, actress Sara Loren, Mrs. Jaya Laxmikanth (wife of singer Laxmikanth of the Laxmikanth Pyarelal duo) and award winning weaver Mr. Ghanshyam Das Bode  who  inaugurated the store and unveiled the look-book and saree showcase of Vedaa';s new bridal collection. Also present were Ms. Snehal Pinto, Director - Ryan Group, Mrs. Sunita Gupta, Owner - The Big Door and many more!

Actress Sara Loren wore a beautiful Yellow Organza Kanjivaram from the Vedaaa collection at the launch, along with other women of stature who are current Vedaa aficionados.

Rooted and defined, Vedaa stands for the ‘Nari’ in her foremost elegance – almost as if the wearer has found a method to worship her own form and its rhythm. Traditional techniques of weaving are revived and curated to create woven textures in sarees , suit coodinates and dupattas.

Vedaa has in its collection contemporary weaves like ikkat kanchi, kota doria kanchi, linen warp kanchi, tissue zari by zari kanchi, kora kanchi and much more. Vedaa also showcases forgotten mina butis of benares, balucheris and benarasi dupattas. In addition it has cotton and silk paithanis, patan patolas, uppadas, ikkats and ahimsa silk by ereena.

This year, Vedaa has introduced a new line of very intricately woven pure real zari handcrafted sarees by some of our master weavers without compromising on quality, with proper GI certification and authencity of zari testified by textile council.

Vedaa, contemporary weaves, champions "Ethical Luxury", at its bijou concept saree studio in Juhu wherein luxurious weaves and handcrafted sarees are reinvented. The mantra is being purist and traditional yet luxurious and contemporary. 

Vedaa';s concept studio is devoted to the highest quality of contemporary yet understated luxurious  handcrafted sarees  woven on many looms across India. Housed on the fourth floor of Ashiyana, JVPD, with a exclusive elevator facility and valet services, the lustrous studio aims at ladies who love sustainability and vintage designs and who are into a non regular look and feel in vintage couture.Nostalgic and grandeur, the store is entrenched with love for style in delightful weaves and ceaseless devotion, whislt offering uppermost hospitality by providing a complete soothing experience to the patron by serving luxurious afternoon tea

For the diversity of the store , Vedaa has also collaborated with Ereena silks who are into Ahimsa silks and a leading jeweller who handcrafts antique polki gold jewellery.
