Actor Dulquer Salmaan becomes brand ambassador of Malabar Developers

Mumbai/Kozhikode, November 10: Kerala-based Malabar Group, a world leader in gold business with its flagship Malabar Gold and Diamonds, today announced signing of youth icon of South Indian film industry Dulquer Salmaan as the brand ambassador for its reality arm – Malabar Developers.
The announcement comes as part of its aggressive pan-India plan to develop commercial and residential properties worth Rs 10,000 crore in the next five years. On roping in Dulquer as brand ambassador, Group Chairman M P Ahammed said the actor enjoyed high star value among the youngsters across the country.
“Apart from being stylish and a highly talented and wholesome entertainer, Dulquer has a boy next door image. This exactly makes him the best brand face for Malabar Developers which wants to stay closer to the customers by providing the best in class and services,” he said.
Dulquer, son of Malayalam super star Mammootty, is one of the most popular young faces especially in Malayalam and Tamil with a string of super hit movies and high-grossing romantic flicks. He also has won Kerala state and Filmfare awards.
Kareena Kapoor is currently the brand ambassador of Malabar Gold and Diamonds.
As part of the expansion, Malabar developers will develop properties across the main cities in the country.  “We have prepared a roadmap to emerge as one of the biggest real estate players in the country by 2020 by developing commercial business clusters, shopping malls, convention facilities, affordable residential properties, technology hubs and integrated townships” said Mr Ahammed.
“Our plan is to construct luxury villas and affordable budget homes across the main cities in the country in the next five years. We are in the process of tying up for joint ventures at the national level,” he added.
