'ICAI Commerce Wizard -2016'

CA. M. Devaraja Reddy, President, ICAI informed that in order to popularize Commerce Education among the students studying in Class IX, X, XI & XII, The Career Counselling Committee (CCC) of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) is conducting a Commerce Talent Search Test - ICAI Commerce Wizard -2016.



 The registration is open to the Students of appearing class IX/X/XI/XII examination. Students registered under open distance learning willalso eligible for appearing in the aforesaid test. Candidates must fill the registration forms through the dedicated website icaicommercewizard.com duly filled in and complete in all respectsby the due date.

The CommerceWizard will be conducted at two levels for Class IX&X and XI& XII separately:

Level 1 test: The first level of the test will be organized through on-line arrangement. The candidates can appear the aforesaid online test from his home or any convenient place through their Laptop/Desktop/Mobile. The aforesaid test will be conducted on 11th December, 2016.
There are 100 questions (100 marks) objective-type (Multiple Choices) questions of 75 minutes duration, 25 questions (25 marks) from each section.

Level 2 test: The level 2 test will be conducted by means classroom written test in the designated Centre as decided by the Test Management Committee through Printed Question papers & OMR answer sheets for shortlisted candidates of level 1. The aforesaid test will be conducted on 8th January, 2017. There are 100 questions (100 marks) objective-type (Multiple Choices)questions of 90 minutes duration, 25 questions (25 marks) from each section.

There is negative marking of 0.25 for every wrong answer. No Negative marking for un-attempted answers in. Both tests will be conducted inbnEnglish language only. ICAI Commerce Wizard will be covering the subjects like Business Studies, Mathematics, Current Economic affair & Aptitude for class IX & X students and Business Mathematics; Economics & Fundamentals of Accounting &Aptitude for the students of class XI & XII.

CA. M. Devaraja Reddy, President, ICAI stressed on ICAI Commerce Wizard-2016 will act as a tool for talent search in Commerce stream,facilitate selection of meritorious students to grant financial awardas well recognition; in turn motivate to achieve excellence & actas a tool for empowerment of the students.

CA.Nilesh Shivji Vikamsey, Vice President, ICAI. lauded that the ICAI Commerce Wizard isan aptitude test intends to create awareness in Commerce & allied subjects. The ICAI Commerce Wizard-2016 test will be a tool to educate,motivate the students of Country to achieve excellence in commerce stream.
