Tangerine’s #poseforacause campaign to support shelter homes in India

Mumbai, March 2017:  Tangerine, the designer brand in home makeover solutions, designed a unique initiative where Bollywood celebrities came together to support#poseforacause campaign. Aimed at supporting the shelter homes for women and elderly, the campaign bought together celebrities supporting the cause where, for every celebrity picture, Tangerine donated ten bedsheets to NGOs like Help Age India and Urja Foundation.
 Through this program, the brand brought donated a total of 360 bed sheets to the NGOs, which will attempt to improve the quality of life of its beneficiaries. With this gesture, they attempted to give shelter homes of women and India’s old folks a comfortable and qualitative life, and more importantly, a smile on their faces with the understanding that somebody is thoughtful about them.
Talking about the initiative, Rajiv Merchant, Co-Founder, Tangerine, said, “Our brand ethos is colours of life. By donating bed sheets to NGO’s like HelpAge India and Urja Foundation, we got the chance to spread radiance and happiness in their shelter homes. We would like to share our gratitude to Bollywood fraternity to transform the cause to a reality.

Mayor praises the footballing talent of Mumbai as he announces young stars will travel to London

The Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, announced the names of the successful youngsters on the first day of his trade mission to India. Sadiq was attending the ninth annual finals day of the Mumbai Soccer Challenge and watched a challenge match to win the inaugural Mayor of London Cup. He confirmed that, for the first time in the scheme’s nine-year history, two girls as well as two boys will be heading to London.
