VirtusaPolaris strengthens its Delivery Operations and India

Mumbai India  – VirtusaPolaris, the market-facing brand of the combined entity of Virtusa Corporation and Polaris Consulting & Services, Ltd., today announced the appointment of Anup Uppadhayay as business delivery head for Enterprise Technology Services. Anup is an industry veteran with more than 24 years of experience and joins VirtusaPolaris from Infosys where he was the EVP and Global Head for Strategic Sales Program. In his role at VirtusaPolaris, Anup will be responsible for driving delivery management for the ETS business unit. Anup will also play a key role in building delivery scale/capacity, implementing initiatives to improve delivery process rigor, together with proactively nurturing key alliances and leveraging business partnerships in India.
Speaking on Anup’s appointment Roger Keith Modder, chief operating officer, Virtusa Corporation said, "We are delighted to have Anup join our team. Mayor praises the footballing talent of Mumbai as he announces young stars will travel to London

The Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, announced the names of the successful youngsters on the first day of his trade mission to India. Sadiq was attending the ninth annual finals day of the Mumbai Soccer Challenge and watched a challenge match to win the inaugural Mayor of London Cup. He confirmed that, for the first time in the scheme’s nine-year history, two girls as well as two boys will be heading to London.
