Wonder Cement contributes in Mukhya Mantri Jal Swavlamban Abhiyan

Udaipur,10th March 2017: Mukhya Mantri Jal Swavlamban Abhiyan is a flagship programme of Rajasthan Govt. for conservation of rain water. On 9th March 2017 Sh. Nitin Jain, AVP (Commercial) handed over the cheque of rupees Ten Lakh to Chittorgarh district collector Sh. Inderjeet Singh (IAS) on behalf of wonder cement ltd. District collector praised the management of WCL for the contribution in Mukhya Mantri Jal Swavlamban Abhiyan and said this contribution will support in making rain water conservation structures in district. 

On this occasion Sh Jain reiterated WCL’s commitment for conservation of rain water. So far WCL has contributed Rs. 40 Lakh (Rs. 20 Lakh for Udaipur & 20 for chittorgarh district), also constructed rain water harvesting structures in plant & nearby villages and plantation in the area of 111 hectares.

Mayor praises the footballing talent of Mumbai as he announces young stars will travel to London

The Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, announced the names of the successful youngsters on the first day of his trade mission to India. Sadiq was attending the ninth annual finals day of the Mumbai Soccer Challenge and watched a challenge match to win the inaugural Mayor of London Cup. He confirmed that, for the first time in the scheme’s nine-year history, two girls as well as two boys will be heading to London.
