ARK INFOSOLUTIONS SHOWCASES VFX BREAKUP OF THE MOVIE THOR

Mumbai, India, October 31 - ARK Infosolutions in partnership with Foundry showcased the VFX breakup of the upcoming movie Thor during the 4th Foundry India Roadshow 2017 at St. Andrew’s Auditorium, Bandra, Mumbai on Monday, 30th October, 2017. The roadshow provided a platform for international speakers and local partners, to discuss various aspects about the VFX industry, to how some of the recent biggest blockbusters were made.
ARK Infosolutions has been associated with Foundry for over 5 years now. Through this partnership ARK has introduced the latest technology products and services in the VFX and 3D Animation industry. The special pricing models, licensing plans have benefited ARK customers to be able to plan and grow during their crucial and time sensitive projects.

Foundry India Roadshow is a platform for local studio partners to showcase their work among industry experts. The Roadshow had some of the latest versions of the market-leading toolsets, including Nuke, Modo, Mari, Katana and Cara VR which helped in understanding how the software is being developed to overcome future technological challenges. Framestore’s VFX superstar, Alexis Wajsbrot demonstrated how Foundry’s Nuke was used on Marvel’s upcoming superhero epic, Thor Ragnarok. There was a line-up of some well-known speakers from Indian VFX houses who spoke about the work they create, the industry, and the latest versions of Foundry’s Nuke family of toolkits was revealed. This helped in imparting workflow knowledge to those who attended this specially arranged session by the Foundry creative team members, who also gave valuable tips and tricks of using the VFX software to the best of its abilities.
