Shri Ajai Kumar, Chairman & Managing Director of the Bank enlightened the children about the significance of the day and greeted them on Children’s Day. He congratulated the children who had come to celebrate Birth Anniversary of Chacha Nehru. He said, “Pandit Nehru was a great visionary, statesman, leader and a great human being. He was the architect of foreign policy and education system in India. He believed in the future generation of education and had laid the foundation of premier education institutes.” “Corporation Bank is fortunate to have the statue of Pandit Nehru in front of its Corporate Office. The Bank will take all possible measure to help and development and growth of the next generation”, he said.

Mangalore, Nov 14: Nehru Jayanti Celebrations held at the Bank’s Corporate Office, today. Shri Ajai Kumar, Chairman & Managing Director of the Bank and Shri Ashwani Kumar, Executive Director of the Bank paid floral tributes to Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru’s Statue in front of the Corporate Office at Mangalore. General Managers, Executives and Employees of Corporation Bank were Also present on the occasion. Children from many schools and members of Bharat Seva Dal of Mangalore took part in the programme.
